On Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, Marie Alice Harvey passed away suddenly and peacefully at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Edna Farris.

Marie is survived by her three sons: William and his spouse Dr. Mauricio Duran; George (GT) and his spouse Leisa Mundy; and Michael (Mike) and his spouse Missy Harvey. Other close relatives are grandson Dylan Farris, sister Lois Blackwell, special niece Brenda Yopp and her spouse Gene, and many more nieces and nephews.

Marie lived in the Roanoke area her entire life and rarely ventured far away. Marie always kept to herself and enjoyed the company of her beloved cats that she cherished.

At this time, the family has chosen to not hold any formal memorial services.

Arrangements are being handled by Valley Funeral Services on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke, Virginia.
