Margaret Helen Parker of Roanoke, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, at the age of 77.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Beam Parker; her mother, Elnora Russell Allen; her father, Arthur Carl Foster; her sister, Marie "Rita" Watkins; and her brothers, Jack Foster and Jessie Foster.

Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was happiest when she had all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her presence. She always found a way to help anyone she could, no matter who they were. Her heart was so kind and overpouring with love. She was also a huge Elvis Presley fan and listened to him at least once a week. Anyone who knew Margaret always expected a huge hug, unending love, complete understanding, and most importantly, comfort.

Those left to cherish Margaret's wonderful memory are her daughter, Sally Sirry, and her husband, Marvin Sirry; her son, Earnest James Parker and his wife, Donna; her grandchildren, Madeline "Mandy" Winebarger and her husband, Samuel Winebarger, Brandy McMinnis and her husband, Tyler McMinnis, and Harley Sirry and her fiancée, Ryan Gatto; her great-grandchildren, Blake Markham, Elijah Winebarger, Brantley Greene, Evangeline McMinnis, and Adriana Gatto; and her sister, Patricia Clark; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends. Margaret will be dearly missed, but never forgotten by those whose lives she has impacted.

A memorial service to honor Margaret's memory will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Service starting at 2 p.m.
