Lucas Wade Strickler, affectionately known as "Luke," age 50, of Fairlawn, Virginia, passed away on November 13, 2025, at his residence. He was born on January 23, 1975, to the late Larry Strickler and Brenda B. Finley, who survives.

A lover of all things green, he took great pleasure in his time spent connecting with nature. Luke was an avid fisherman, horticulturist, and hunter. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as listening to music and enjoying marijuana.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Brenda Finley, and stepfather, George Finley; sister, Cassidy Hatfield; stepdaughter, Seirra St Clair; nieces, Gabrielle Strickler and Adaline Hatfield-Wall; brother-in-law, James Wall, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church, 6686 Roanoke Rd, Shawsville, VA 24162, Shawsville, Virginia.
