The family is saddened to announce the passing of their beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Linda Gail Orange of Troutville, Virginia, who passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the age of 63. Gail was born in Botetourt County to the late Leon "Bunt" and Virginia Mae Rucker St. Clair on April 12, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Larry St. Clair, and her brother-in-law, Gary Booth.

Those left to cherish Gail's life will be her loving husband, William F. Orange; daughters, Christy Paderick and Melissa Hatter and her husband, Cameron; grandchildren, Nathan Mundy, Kaylee, and Gavin Bowles, and Cainen Hatter; siblings, Jimmy St. Clair and his wife, Carol, Bruce St. Clair and his wife, Marie, and Dianne Booth; special friends, Vickie St. Clair, Nancy Hosey, Kathy St. Clair, and Debbie Moak; many specials nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Nana Gail as she was known to many was an incredible woman who overcame many obstacles in the past twenty years of her life. Her energy was something contagious; she loved to laugh, joke, and be the center of attention. She was a loving mother and friend to many and everyone who knew her knew that her home was always open. You couldn't take mama anywhere and leave her because she would walk right up to people and carry on a conversation with anyone who would listen. She enjoyed being at home surrounded by her loving family just lounging around in her nightgown, but when she went out in public, you could guarantee that she will be all dolled up with her jewelry and best clothing.  She will be missed by everyone who fell in love with her.

A Celebration of Nana Gail's life will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 2 p.m with family receiving friends one hour prior at Valley Funeral Home.
