Linda Marie Haley Burgess, 76, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024. A devoted Christian, Linda found joy in sharing the word of God with others and living a life of faith and love. After retiring, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her beloved great-granddaughters. She had a passion for gardening and creating beautiful flower arrangements that brought joy to those around her.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Arlene Haskins; her grandparents, Asa Tucker and George and Pauline Smith; her special uncles, Ned, and Jimmy Tucker; and her brother-in-law, Gene Pickeral.

She leaves behind her son, Dwayne Burgess; her daughter, Renee Burgess Butterworth (Rob); her grandsons, Joshua Burgess (Lauren) and Ryan Dowe (Taylor); and her cherished great-granddaughters, Kennedy Burgess, Emersyn Dowe, and Madelyn Burgess. Linda is also survived by her sisters, Deborah Pickeral and Pam Byrd, and her nieces, Nichole Baird and Marsi Pickeral.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date at the home of Rob and Renee Butterworth.

Linda's unwavering faith, love for her family, and passion for life will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
