Linda C. Gibson Sparta , age 74, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, on September 15, 2022. Linda was born on February 9, 1948, to the late Silas Wade Gibson and Mable C. Gibson in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Linda was a homemaker who enjoyed working around the home, in her yard, and caring for her fur babies; her precious cats. A woman of many talents; she loved crafting, creating, and making something out of nothing.  She also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and painting.

Those left to cherish precious memories are; her loving and devoted husband of forty-three years, William "Will" Sparta; and long-time friends, Lydia Shvydky, Carlton Haakinson, and Ann Wyatt Hurt.

Service of interment will be held at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 30, at 12 p.m. in the mausoleum.
