Linda Diane Dover, age 76, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on February 6, 2024. She was born on December 26, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio. Linda was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was known for her kind, honest, and spunky personality, although she could be stubborn at times she always led with love and kindness. Linda had a heart of gold and always remained faithful to those she loved. She was a strong woman who fought a long battle with leukemia.

Linda is survived by her significant other, Philip Andrew Moder; her children, Lori Pugh and Todd Howard; and her grandchildren, Ingrid P., Carley P., Lauren P., Jacob H., Zachary H., Hayley B., and Tyler H. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert S. Dover, Sr., and Nellie E. Fox; and her siblings, Edith L. Worrix, Robert S. Dover, Jr., and Susan A. Dover.

Linda attended Westerville South High School and later pursued higher education at The Ohio State University. She retired from OSU after a successful career. In her free time, Linda enjoyed listening to gospel music, indulging in sweet treats, and keeping up with her family and friends.

She had a fondness for watching her favorite game shows and guessing the answers before the contestants. She would rarely miss a grandchild's sporting event without bringing plenty of snacks in tow, always having the best. And finally, every time she saw Brutus she passionately cheered for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held on February 17, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Amvets Post 51 (9293 Township Rd. 79, Thornville, Ohio 43067). The dress code for the event is Ohio State gear, a fitting tribute to Linda's unwavering support for her favorite team.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of Linda's courageous battle.
