It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Leslie Robin Aliff, affectionately known as Robin. Robin, 61, was surrounded by family as she peacefully passed away on February 16, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Aliff, and mother, Sandra Aliff; her grandfather, Wilcey Gibson; and grandmother, Dorothy Graham.

Robin was proud of the work she did during her time at Goodwill Industries in Roanoke, Virginia. She found great fulfillment in helping people with physical and mental disabilities, touching countless lives with her kindness and compassion. In addition to her work at Goodwill, Robin was a skilled casino dealer in Tunica, MS, where she formed lasting friendships and memories. After that, she worked for the DAV Thrift Store, where she loved helping as many people as she could.

Robin was passionate about the beach and loved the trips she and Brenda would take. She spent countless hours soaking up the sun with her feet in the sand, hoping to find shells and shark teeth. Along with spending time with Brenda, the beach brought her a sense of comfort and happiness that she cherished.

Robin also loved cooking for her family, and many fond memories were made around her kitchen table. She took great joy in preparing meals and having family dinners, where everyone gathered to share food, stories, and laughter. Her love for her family was evident in every meal she made.

Robin found immense joy in the love of her grandchildren, who were a constant source of happiness and pride in her life. Their laughter, love, and presence brought her so much joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her legacy lives on through the love she gave them and the bond they will carry with them forever.

She is survived by her sons, Shannon Aliff of Salem, VA, and Ryan Aliff of Vinton, VA; grandchildren, Kayla Landwehr and husband Dylan, Isaiah Aliff, Amaya Aliff, and Madi Aliff; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Hoke, Paula and Viviana White, and Dylan Landwehr, Jr.; sisters, April Nguyen and husband Hung, Crystal Aliff and Libby Wimmer, both of Roanoke, VA and special nephew, Dylan of Lake Cormorant, MS.

Robin is also survived by her devoted partner, Jimmy Riddleberger of Buchanan, VA, who shared a life of love, happiness, and companionship with her for 14 years. Additionally, she leaves behind her aunt, Sharon Aliff Kessler of Bedford, VA, numerous cousins, and a special cousin, Brenda Gregory.

Robin had a deep love for animals and shared her home with her beloved dog, Stella, and her cherished cockatiel, Winnie.

She shared a deep and cherished friendship with her cousin, Brenda, whose unwavering support and love will always be remembered. They had a bond built on love, laughter, and countless memories, which will be treasured forever.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Robin's life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Valley Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., please join us in sharing memories and stories to commemorate Robin.
