Leonard Odell Angle, born on March 10, 1933, in Alleghany County, VA, peacefully passed away on November 3, 2023, in Roanoke, Virginia.

Leonard proudly served in the Army and retired from Blue Ridge Transfer. His passion for hunting and raising squirrel and coon dogs was unmatched, and he was an avid fisherman. Leonard loved hunting deer, bear, turkey, rabbits, and any game that could be shared at the family table. He cherished time with his family, visiting his sisters, and enjoying joining them and their families on beach trips.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carlos Angle; mother, Eliza Bowen; great-grandson, Noland Dean Young; brother-in-laws, Johnny Kemper, Harry Lindwood Kemper, Larry Wayne Kemper, Vernon Layne Kemper; father-in-law, Harry Gordon Kemper; and sisters-in-laws, Joyce Ann Campbell, and Rachael Cochran.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Betty Kemper Angle; children, Sandra Angle, Terry Angle (Mary), and Danny Angle; grandchildren, Shannon Young (Jody), Katie Mangum (Gordon); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Young, Shawna Marie Martin, and Daniel Angle; and sisters, Carolyn Kilpatrick, Bobby Bowen, Kay Haskins (Rickie).

Leonard's legacy lives on through the love and memories shared by his family and friends.
