Lee Michael Elswick, lovingly known as "Eelmatic," passed away on October 1, 2025, in Roanoke, Virginia, at the age of 43. Born on August 2, 1982, in Roanoke, Lee lived life in his own unique way, always bringing his true self to every moment. He loved playing basketball, gaming on his PlayStation, listening to music, and cooking, but above all, he enjoyed simply being Lee.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Ferris, his grandfather, Billy Ferris, and his father, James T. Elswick, Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Pamela Ferris (Jeffery Conner), his brother, Charles Ferris, his uncle, Tommy, his aunts, Karen and Terri, and several cousins. He will also be deeply missed by his nephew, Aiden, his nieces, Mia and Marly, and his special sister, Tori.

A memorial service will be held at Norwich Park on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please join us in celebrating Lee's life with food, sharing memories, and his favorite pastime: basketball.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that contributions be made to the National Epilepsy Foundation in Lee's memory.
