Lannie M. Varney, age 84 ; our devoted husband, Dad, and Granddaddy, went to his heavenly home on June 14, 2022.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Clayton and Lorraine Varney, and two brothers, Nick and Steve Varney.

Lannie is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Dottie David Varney; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and David Vosika; his son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Kay Varney; two adorable granddaughters, Sydney Bays (Brennon) and Lane Varney; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lannie was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was employed with Norfolk Southern Railway for thirty-eight years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Salem, VA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
