Kyle Edward Eanes, affectionately known as "Eddie," passed away on September 8, 2026, in Elliston, Virginia. He was born on August 9, 1955.

Eddie attended Elliston Church of God and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for the time he spent with those he loved and the simple joys he cherished throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Claudy Eanes; his brothers, Mike and Don; and his sister, Lois Bean.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Eanes; his son, Jason Eanes; his special nephew, Donnie Eanes and his son, Dylan; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Duncan, Jennifer Mengelkarp and Whitney Leonard; several grandchildren; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home Chapel.
