Kevin Edward Williams, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at eight o'clock in the evening. He was born in 1962 in Macon, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Carolyn Williams, and his in-laws, Raymond and Ethel Barnhart.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry, and three children, Carter, Page, and her husband Zachry, and Taylor, as well as his two grandchildren, Levi and Isaiah, and his sister, Karen Williams, and her husband, George.

Kevin's favorite job by far was serving as the associate pastor of Dwelling Place Church. More than being a church leader, he was a friend to the body. He loved it wholeheartedly and found ways to say I love you to all the parishioners at Dwelling Place. He gave gifts, time, laughter, and even not-so-funny jokes. He loved to dance and sing loudly. Mostly, he gave his heart. Kevin was a blessing to so many. He loved his dear wife and was infinitely proud of his three children. He rejoiced with them in their rejoicing and suffered with them in their suffering. Kevin was humble, honest, and kind. He was the type of guy who would trip over his own big feet on his way to greet a new person at church and laugh as they helped him get up. He'd clap them on the back and declare them friends and a good friend he was. We miss him so badly that our eyes sting and our chests hurt.

His life and devotion to Jesus will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at noon at Church of the Holy Spirit, 6011 Merriman Rd, Roanoke, Virginia.
