Kebbie Mae Saunders, fondly known as Mimi, passed away with her loving daughter and son-in-law by her side on August 15, 2023, in Hardy, VA, at the age of 78. Born on November 29, 1944, in Roanoke, Virginia, Kebbie's vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Mimi had a zest for life and a love for adventure. She found joy in various activities, including dog races, slot machines, lottery scratch-offs, and her cherished travels, with Nags Head, NC holding a special place in her heart.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving daughter, Vickie Callis (David); her grandchildren, Cory and Stephanie (Miles Christian); great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Becca, and Hayes; and her sister-in-law, Toby. There are also a numerous amount of nieces, nephews, and special friends who were fortunate to share in her life's journey.

A service celebrating Mimi's life will be held at Vinton Wesleyan Church on Monday, August 21, 2023. Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by the service at 5 p.m. Pastor Ricardo Rodriguez will lead the service, honoring the vibrant spirit and enduring legacy of Kebbie Mae Saunders.
