Obituary

Karol J. Lurch 70 passed away on the morning of Wednesday May 19th after a long battle with cancer. Karol was a loving person. She constantly looked for the positive in every person and situation no matter how difficult they could be.

She loved children and teaching them. She worked for the Red Cross for many years teaching swimming, lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR. She was an assistant instructor for special education. She also worked daycare and after school programs at Bonsack Baptist church where she also Attended.
When Karol was not teaching she loved gardening, arts and crafts, taking care of her horses, and trail riding with her dear friends.
Karol is survived by her husband David Lurch Jr, their sons Chris and David Lurch III, her daughter in law Mariella and her grandchildren Braeden and Tegan Lurch, her aunt Dorothy, and countless friends who loved her dearly.
