Karen Sue Woods, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on June 9, 2022. Karen was born on April 22, 1958. Our beautiful mother entered the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven where she meets her husband, Authur Jefferson Woods, Jr.

She is also preceded in death by her husband; her brother, Doug; and two sisters, Sandy and Hattie Hamilton, all of Roanoke, Virginia.

She leaves behind her son, Daniel Woods; her daughter, Ashely Woods; her grandchildren, Ivan, Steven, Vehanna, and Kershener; her longtime friend, Lisa Owens and the Stanley family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Valley Funeral Home Chapel, with the family receiving friends at 2 p.m.
