The late Karen Kathleen Lill, also known as Mary Norton departed her life on Friday, September 24, 2021, at her home in Check, Virginia.  Karen was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She spent the majority of her life as a resident in Illinois.

Karen was proceeded in death by her husband, Joseph Carl Lill; her grandson, Joseph Michael Duncan; her birth parents and her adoptive parents, and many siblings.

Karen is survived by her brother, Elliotte Norton; her children, Donna Lomelino, Carrie Childers (Gary Childers), Michelle Reed, and Michael Duncan (Jennifer Mitchell). She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Elissa (Shamon), Joshua (Elise), Kylee (Nate), Caryn (Kenneth), Joseph, Ashley (Blake), and Michaela. In addition, she leaves behind 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
