Karen Lynn Ferris-Anderson was born on November 19, 1958, to the late Betty Jean Ferris and Billy C. Ferris. She passed away on July 31, 2026.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Katherine L. Day

She loved walking, often finding peace and comfort in the simple rhythm of being outdoors. Karen was a quiet person, someone whose gentle nature spoke louder than words. Her calm presence, steady kindness, and soft spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mark D. Bryant; granddaughter, Miranda Bryant; her brother, Thomas Ferris (Sandra); her sisters, Pamela Ferris (Jeff) and Jocelyn M. Ferris (Bruce); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
