Juanita Lynn Lockhart, affectionately know as Lynn, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Edward, and Grace Elizabeth Francisco Wygal; her husband, Bob Lockhart; her children's father, Ralph E. Spraker, Sr.; her daughter, Sylvia Spraker Chittum; and her granddaughter, Valarie Chittum.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Ralph E. Spraker, Jr. and wife, Debbie of Boone, NC; April Spraker Hart of Florence, SC; her grandchildren, Shane Spraker, Austin Spraker and wife, Rosanna Hutto Spraker; siblings, David Wygal; Sandra Wygal Shupe; Rita Wygal Collins, Sherry Wygal Bevins and everyone in her special family at Seneca Baptist Church.

Lynn was born in Roanoke, Virginia in November of 1938. She married at seventeen and had her first of three children, Ralph, Jr. at age of 19. She later completed her G.E.D. going on to Francis Marion College to earn her A.A. degree. Afterwards she would work for Francis Marion for most of her career as a professional secretary and switchboard operator.  She was immensely proud of her time from 1974-1997 for her achievements, accolades, and award for great service including Professional Secretary of the Year . She was a very competent bookkeeper and proficient with computers. She returned and settled back in Salem where she married Robert Franklin Lockhart. Her relationship with her husband also brought her into a new relationship with our Lord. The two found their home at Seneca Baptist Church where they were always joyfully involved. In her heart of hearts, Lynn was an artist. She painted, knitted, and crocheted. Her home was filled with her paintings and knitted over a thousand scarves and hats for children.  Her favorite place to be was the Blue Ridge Parkway especially the lovely Peaks of Otter and Mabry Mill . She loved her family and was a terrific cook. At potluck suppers her dishes always came back completely empty. She will be missed by all those she loved and by those who loved her.

A graveside service will be planned for March 2021 at East Hill Cemetery with Pastor, John Collins of Seneca Baptist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of Lynn. Please make online condolences at guestbook below.
