Joe left this world on April 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maureen Lunney, and his grandfather, Lonnie Dickerson. He is survived by his son, Aiden Dickerson; his father, Robert Dickerson; his former wife, Ashleigh Dickerson; his brothers, Joel Dickerson, Robbie Dickerson, James Dickerson, and Gage Lunney; his grandmothers, Sandra Herrell, and Charlene Doubet; his grandfather, Thomas Doubet; his uncles, Seamas Chappelear, Sean Chappelear, Chad Socher and Richard Dickerson; his aunts, Sherrie Socher and Elizabeth Dickerson; many cousins and extended family.

Joe graduated from Eastern Montgomery High School, became an Aviation Technicians Mate in the Navy, and was a carpenter at the end of his life.

A memorial service will be on April 28, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The service will be held at Valley Funeral Home 1609 Peters Creek Road, NW Roanoke, VA 24017
