John Edgar Mills, born on March 6, 1957, left this world on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the age of 66.

He was a hardworking man who epitomized the spirit of versatility, excelling in landscaping, auto mechanics, carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing. A true jack of all trades, John's hands were skilled in every craft he undertook.

Beyond his many talents, John found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A passionate angler, he loved spending serene moments by the water, fishing rod in hand. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with loved ones. The strumming of his guitar resonated with the warmth of his soul.

Known for his caring nature, John was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He was not only a devoted life partner to Rita Henry but also a loving brother and father. John's spirit of generosity and selflessness will forever linger in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

John is preceded in death by his life partner, Rita Henry, and his brother, Gary D. Mullins.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, John David Mills; his brother, Danny Mills (Sandra); and his grandchildren, Jasmine Renee Mills and Zaden Edgar Mills; one nephew, and many nieces.

A celebration of John's remarkable life will be held at a later date, a time to gather, reminisce, and honor the enduring legacy of a man who touched the lives of many with his kindness.
