John David McManus, born on December 9, 1949, in Pennsylvania, passed away on October 22, 2023, in Vinton, Virginia.

John was a dedicated United States Army veteran, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War.

John had a deep passion for travel and embarked on many adventures throughout his lifetime. He also found solace in the world of literature, enjoying reading and amassing a collection of cherished books.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Loyal McManus and Virginia McManus, who now welcome him into eternal peace.

He leaves behind his daughters, Erica Gartley (Ken) and Tiffany Fleisher (Stanley). John's spirit lives on through his grandchildren, Rachelle Gartley, Madison Fleisher, Eric Gartley, and Ken Gartley, Jr.

John David McManus will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
