John Jeffrey King, 63, of Roanoke, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 23 ^rd , 2021. John is preceded in death by his parents, Malvin Markham and Gaylan Irene Saunders Markham; and brother, Howard King. John was a simple man that enjoyed the little things in life. He had collected an arsenal of guns that he kept in great condition. He enjoyed making things with his hands and working on cars. John rode a motorcycle in his earlier years. He was also known to have more than a few choice words when the news came on. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving sons, John and Michael King; his sister, Sharon Wilkerson (Rick); his grandchild, Cameron King; niece, Krista Goodwin; nephew, Michael Daniel; and special friend Sonnie Gills. John will be dearly missed by all that knew him. At John's request, no services have been planned.
