John Edward Jeritza, Sr., known fondly as Jack, was born on January 29, 1944, in Niagara Falls, NY. On Monday, February 19, 2024, he peacefully passed away in Roanoke, VA.

Throughout his life, Jack embraced various occupations, including roles at Sealtest, Radioshack, Circuit City, and Lowes. He was actively involved with the Boy Scouts during his youth and remained devoted to his church. Serving in the Air Force, Jack retired with the rank of master sergeant after bravely serving in Vietnam, where he worked on helicopters.

In his leisure time, Jack found solace in painting, cherished moments with family, and enjoyed traveling the world.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Jeritza-Ponzi, his aunt and uncle, Ann and Harry Huff, and his first wife, Joline Wolfkill Jeritza.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Netnaoha Jeritza, and his children: John Jeritza, Jr., Jerry Jeritza, Joel Jeritza (Candy), Janeit Hillyer (Andy), Fon Srisomboon, Phon Srisomboon, and Mai Thai Sdeng Sawang. Additionally, he is survived by his grandchildren: Izzi Murawski (Robert), Jeremy Jeritza, Bank Jeritza, Bam Jeritza, Kodee Lawson (Mike), Matt Dew (Janet), Paige Drew, Jacob Hillyer, and Drew Hillyer, as well as his great-grandchildren: Elijah Murawski, Gabriel Murawski, Silas Lawson, Bridger Lawson, Castiel Dew, Brookilin Blair Dew, and Winter Dew.
