John James Conway of Roanoke, Virginia peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the age of 52.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Denis and Eileen Burrell Conway; his brother, Denis Conway; and his uncles, Patrick Conway, Sean Conway, and Richard Conway. He was an avid Redskins fan and was a member of Greater Prayer Temple Church.

Those left to cherish John's memory are his sisters, Kathy Sullivan (Ed), and JoAnne Conway (Antolin Mercedes); nieces and nephews, Deirdre Rose, Shelia, Denis Ryan, Colleen, and Meaghan Sullivan; cousins, Debbie and Susan Schmidt, Sean Conway, Tommy, and Regina Mulhearn; special uncle and aunt, Michael and Teresa Birmingham and their children Cristamary Mack (Scott), John, Rowan, Ivan, and Grace Birmingham.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service Sunday Dec. 12 at 3 p.m.  in honor of John at Greater Prayer Temple, 2620 Cove Rd., Roanoke, VA.
