Jerry Steven Collins, lovingly known as "Pops," was born on October 10, 1953, and entered eternal rest on August 28, 2025.

A devoted father and grandfather, Jerry is survived by his children Jessica, Judah (Jennifer), and Janna Meagan, as well as his beloved grandchildren Matteo, Tigerlily, Atlas, and Abigail. His family was his greatest joy, and he carried the title of "Pops" with pride and warmth.

For over 45 years, Jerry was a hardworking and principled business owner, known for his resourcefulness and inventive spirit. He pioneered new building methods and poured his creativity into both his profession and his personal passions. A man of God and a deep thinker, Jerry lived with conviction, integrity, and generosity.

He had a lifelong love of writing, music, and movies, and never missed the excitement of college football, the Ryder Cup, and especially March Madness. He loved a stiff drink on ice, a cold beer after a hard day's work, all-you-can-eat crab legs, and anchovies on pizza.  Beyond his personal interests, Jerry was deeply dedicated to serving others. He volunteered both domestically and internationally, helping with disaster cleanup and rebuilding efforts, offering not only his skills but also his comforting presence to those in need.

Jerry's legacy is one of faith, creativity, service, and love for his family. He will be remembered as a steady and compassionate man whose life touched many.
