Jeffrey C. Howland, 74, affectionately known as Jeff, residing in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, passed away suddenly while out of town in Roanoke, Virginia, following a wonderful vacation with family and friends, in his hometown of New Milford, Connecticut.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Megill Howland and Ruth Henrich Howland;  son, Shawn Jeffrey Howland; brother, Matthew James Howland and sister, Jill Christine Howland.

Jeff was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, Connecticut. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker and Designer; holding several patents. He was later employed as a Supplier Quality Engineer with Ryerson Steel before retiring in 2019.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and listening to music. He was an avid reader and photographer. We will not talk about his love for fleas markets and yard sales.

Jeff leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Marita Martin Howland of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; sons, Ehren Martin Howland of South Florida and Kevin Matthew Howland of Inman, South Carolina; brother, Sidney Megill Howland of New Milford, Connecticut; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service for Jeff will be held at later date and will be announced when finalized.
