Jeffery Jerome Fagio, 65, who lived in Salem, Virginia was born in Welch, West Virginia to Dewey Lee Fagio and Frances Louise Kemp Fagio that preceded him in death.

He went peacefully to be with his Lord on August 21, 2021, after a short battle with cancer that was very aggressive, he was in a lot of pain and is no longer suffering.

He cherished his wife (Teresa) of 39 years and was a loving and devoted husband, if you saw one without the other it was rare.

His friends say he had a unique laugh that they will miss. He loved watching football and game shows. His passion was working out and traveling with his wife to Tennessee to see the live shows, going to the antique malls, and yard sales.

He loved animals and is leaving behind 5 cats, one of which is Maggie, that he adored. His pride and joy, Jewell who passed away in 2014 was the best cat, who would walk beside him everywhere he went.

Surviving him are his wife (Teresa), that will miss him dearly, 3 sisters; Shirley Key of Salem, VA, Shelley Sober of Roanoke, VA, and Charlotte Scott of West Virginia. And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Roanoke, Virginia will handle the arrangements.
