Jeannine Kittinger Spangler, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the age of 83.

Jeannine is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kenneth Spangler; her parents, J. Everett and Eva P. Kittinger; her brother, Det. Thomas E. Kittinger and his wife, Goldie J. Kittinger; her sister, Joan K. Shannon, and her husband, Ralph Shannon; and her sister, Jacqueline K. Holland, and her husband, Ernest Holland; her brother-in-law, William Longworth; and her niece, Theresa Shell.

Jeannine graduated from Jefferson High School. She retired from Carillion Clinic, where she was the medical assistant to Dr. Daniel Harrington. Jeannine was a life-long member of the West End Presbyterian Church in Roanoke.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Eva K. Longworth; her children, Belinda K. Jones and partner, Debbie Davidson, Anna J. Gill, and spouse, Timothy Gill, and Howard Kenneth Spangler, II and spouse, Ruthie Spangler; her grandchildren, Genesis M. Wilson and spouse, Joshua Wilson, Howard Kenneth Spangler, III, and spouse, Marissa Martin, Brian N. Spangler and spouse, Lillian Spangler, and A. Bryce Gill and spouse, Emily Gill; her great-grandchildren, Elliott J. Spangler, Cornelia A. Spangler, and Kaisen D. Gill; special companions, Sissa Belle and Mr. Black; many special nieces and nephews; and best friend, Debbie Kirkwood.

A celebration of her life will be held at West End Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 30, 2022, beginning at 1 p.m. with Reverend Tony Ward officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the West End Presbyterian Church or Angels of Assisi in Roanoke.
