Jeanette Gail (Nett) Nicely, 71, of Blue Ridge, VA went to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, July 9, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester (Junior) Perdue and Georgia May Perdue, as well as her long-time companion Charles R. Floyd Sr. and her brother Michael A. Perdue. Jeanette was an accomplished seamstress. She sewed ottomans at Rowe Furniture for over 40 years. Jeanette enjoyed fishing, camping, amusement parks, and SHOPPING.

Left to cherish her memory were stepdaughters, Shaynon L. Hughes (Charles E. Hawkins), Margaret S. Bunker (Jonathan Bunker), and stepson Chuck (Chucky) Floyd (Crystal Floyd); grandchildren, Steven, Hunter, Christin, Tiffanny, Erica, Rebeka, Jonathan, and Savanna; great-grandchildren, Micah and Ryon; Feline Sassy and Canine Tara Lou, and a host of friends. A special thank you to Kathy and Mike Williamson, Debbie Lugar, Sandy Hamby, and Carilion Hospice Staff.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, at 11 am at Valley Funeral Home chapel with Buck Simmons officiating. Interment to follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
