Jean Ann Burwell, 79, of Roanoke, Virginia has gone to be with the Lord on March 15 ^th , 2022. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Jennie Clyde Owen Simpkins; her father, Raddy Ralph Simpkins; her brothers, Woodrow Simpkins, and Troy Simpkins; and her grandson, Michael Jackson.

She is survived by her sister, Beulah Guthrie; her brother, Earnie Simpkins; her daughters, Deborah Jackson, and Teresa Downey; her granddaughters, Ashley Jackson, and Jeanette Jackson; her great-granddaughters, Zy'Arie Calloway and Ja'Zyah Lipford; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Some great family friends include Terry Shaw, Jimmy Shockley, Tanequah Rose, and many many more.

She has always been a hardworking and family-loving person. She adored her family more than anything else and everyone that met her fell in love with her. She would give the shirt off her back for even a stranger. She was the most remarkable woman you will ever know and she will dearly and forever be missed! We all love you so very much Mommaw and may you Rest In Paradise, my beautiful angel!
