James "Jimmy" Otis White, age 60, of Roanoke, VA,  passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was born in Roanoke on June 29, 1962, to the late Evelyn Virginia Pollard and John Earl White. He was married to Ebru White, who survives.

Jimmy served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after several years of service. He was a proud veteran and loved his country. He later was employed as a support technician at Signature Flight Support in Roanoke, VA. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, and spending time with his dog "Ben Ben." He also had a special love for airplanes. He will be remembered as a kind loving husband.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ebru White; mother-in-law,  Muazzez Mutlu; and sister-in-law, Berfu Mutlu.

A graveside service will be held on December 29, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Southwest Veterans Cemetery 5550 Bagging Plant Rd. Dublin, VA.
