James Michael "Mike" Dow, Sr. , 73, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on December 6th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a lifetime of memories. Born on April 4th, 1951, in Roanoke, Virginia, Mike lived a full and fulfilling life, touching the hearts of countless individuals along the way.

A Proud American and a Die-Hard Cowboys Fan

Mike was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving his country with honor and dedication. In his free time, he was a devoted fan of "America's Team, The Dallas Cowboys". His love for the team was only rivaled by his love for his family, and he often shared his passion for football with those around him.

A Life of Service and Entrepreneurship

After serving his country, Mike went on to become a successful business owner, specializing in janitorial services, floor care, and car detailing. His commitment to excellence and quality service earned him a reputation as a trusted and reliable professional in his community.

A Man of Many Interests

Mike was a man of many interests and passions. He was always curious and eager to explore new gadgets, and his love for technology was evident in his enthusiasm for the latest innovations. Legacy and Remembrance

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph R. Dow, and Mabel Dow; his wife, Loretha Y. Harvey Dow (Sissy); and his brothers, Douglas Dowe and Howard Wayne Dowe.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Nakia R. Dow (Nicky) and Ashley M. Dow; his son, James Michael Dow Jr. (Mikey); his granddaughter, Ava Martin (His Sunshine); his brothers, Lowell Tony Dow and Cornell Dow; his sister, Joyce Simmons; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who he loved dearly.

Celebrating His Life

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 14th, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Elliston, with visitation at 11 am. and the service to begin at 12 p.m.
