Jackie Helene Ferrell, of Roanoke, left this Earth on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at the age of 56.

Jackie was born on December 29, 1965, to the late Willard and Audrey Higby.

Also preceding Jackie in death are her daughter, Ashley Farnsworth; and her brother, Buddy Robinson.

Jackie was a stay-at-home mother to her 2 grandchildren, Jacque and Serenity Musser. She was a loving fur momma to her four cats: Lucifer, Lincoln, Cupcake, and Rascal. She loved nature and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and different wildlife that came around the house. She was an excellent cook who always kept her family fed. More than anything, Jackie loved her family and always found time to spend with them; making them laugh and smile. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies.

Those left to cherish Jackie's memory are her loving husband, Robert Ferrell; her son, Billy Farnsworth; her daughters, Christine Kinney, and Meghann Musser; her grandchildren, Jacque Musser, Serenity Musser, Willard Farnsworth, Ashley Farnsworth, Tristan Farnsworth, Asher Farnsworth, Brian Cupp, Evelynn Kinney, Tobias Kinney, Caden Philben, and Danni Cole; her siblings, Michelle Mazur, and Doug Robinson; her mother-in-law, Frances Garrett; her sisters-in-law, Karen Bidanslet, Denise Wright, and Cindy Shepard; and her son-in-law, Daniel Kinney.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Lynn Haven Baptist Church (1501 East Washington Ave. Vinton, VA 24079) to be officiated by Reverend Bob Hetherington.
