Ibry Norman Kidd, age 89, of Elliston, originally from Eagle Rock was reunited in Heaven with his dearly-departed wife, Mary Ruth Johnson Kidd, on April 3, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his parents, James and Gardie Kidd; and siblings,  James Kidd, Ernest Kidd, Mary Brumlow, and great granddaughter, Kayleigh Daigneault.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Colleen Caldwell and Linda Deisher; grandchildren, Darrin Kidd, Margo Currie, Malaia Caldwell, Sherry Atkinson and Pam Weaver; great-grandchildren, William Dickerson, Dayton Kidd, Karston Kidd, Jayme Gilmore, Kameran Currie, Teagan Daigneault, Kymber Daigneault, Jeb Bronson, and Nick Hamilton; great great-grandchildren, Landrey Combs, Kinslei Kidd, and Lennon and Ledger Hamilton; and siblings, Paul Kidd and Lois Elliott.

His wife was the apple of his eye and life was not the same for Ibry since her passing in 2009. His world turned around her. They were married over 6o plus years and his life was dramatically changed without her after she passed. Those who loved him are overjoyed they are together again.

Ibry Kidd served his country in the US Army National Guard. He was a mechanic and upon retirement had over 60 years of experience. There was no engine large or small which he could not fix. He worked at many different jobs but was a one-of-a-kind man. he was generous and giving; always helpful to anyone in need. He loved to listen to Inspirational Bluegrass and Gospel music. His hobby included working puzzles and he also loved word puzzles. He did jigsaw puzzles 363 days a year, excepting only Thanksgiving Day and Christmas (which were family days). He loved his family above all, and did all he could for them throughout his life.

A Celebration of Ibry's Life will be held at a later date.
