Howard Walter Starkloff, 84, of Salem, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1941, to the late Howard W. Starkloff and Mary L. Lawhon.

Howard leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, JoAnne Newman Starkloff; his children, Stephanie Morgan (Jim), Eric Starkloff (Michele), and Julianna Starkloff; his beloved grandchildren, Jack Morgan, Abby Morgan, Kate Starkloff, and Maya Starkloff; his siblings, Linda Hammett and Karl Starkloff; nephews, Kent Miller and Kevin Miller; and a host of other cherished relatives and friends.

A memorial service to honor Howard's life will be held at Glenvar Baptist Church at a later date.
