Holly E. Markham, 43, of Roanoke, VA passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2022. Holly was born on August 29, 1978, in Bloomington, IL. She was the daughter of William and Alyce Bowman. Holly graduated from Cave Spring High School and attended Virginia Western Community College.

She is survived by her husband, Seth Markham, and the joys of her life, her children, Hannah "Evans", Connor, Hugh, Timothy, and Máiréad. Also left to cherish her memory and unique sense of humor are her mother, Alyce Bowman; sisters, Emily Miller (Jeremy) of Roanoke and Cassie Stroyan of Bloomington, Illinois; her niece and nephew, Maddie Miller, and Aidan Miller; as well as many more nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, and cousins.
Preceding her in death are her father, William Bowman, her paternal grandmother, Mabel Naff Bowman, and maternal grandparents, Hugh and Susie Evans.

Holly was a talented, creative young woman, born with music in her soul. Holly played several instruments and loved to sing. She shared her eclectic taste in music with family and friends. Holly also enjoyed growing calla lilies and reading.

A memorial service will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, 2022, beginning at 3 p.m. with Rev. Karla Gee officiating.
