Hiroko Yamagishi Martin, lovingly called "Lucky," was born on December 29, 1929, in Kyoto, Japan. She peacefully passed away on August 5, 2023, in Roanoke, VA. Her life was one of cherished memories.

After dedicating years to her work at Elizabeth Arden, Hiroko entered a well-earned retirement. She found happiness in the gentle rhythm of walking, the artistry of haiku, and the adventures of traveling.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Yokichi and Atrin Yamagishi. Hiroko's memory lives on through her son, David Quesenberry, and his wife, Minghsin Shih; and her granddaughter, Marisa S. Quesenberry. They hold close to the love and wisdom she shared. Her spirit will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort.
