To know Nanny was to love her. She was a woman of boundless generosity, a heart full of love, and a spirit that uplifted everyone she met. She was funny and resilient. She was pure. She was intentional. She was generous. Her kindness was not just something she showed, it was the very essence of who she was. Her home was a place of warmth, her presence a source of peace, and her heart an endless well of compassion. Her love, kindness, and acceptance were always constant. Although she is no longer with us in body, her love will continue to guide us and her legacy will live on in every act of kindness we share. That is who our nanny is and was. She is forever etched into our hearts and souls and is the reason we are who we are.

Thank you for the endless love, support, and laughs. We'll see you again, in our dreams.

The family would like to thank Goldie's caretakers,  Jessica Bowdel, and Norka Carrera. Thank you for the attention, love, and gentle kindness you also showed to her and the family. We can not thank you enough for the care you provided. Also, a special thank you to Carilion Hospice.
