On January 21st, 2022, Glenda Denise (Lemon) Finney of Salem, Virginia passed away peacefully at home joining our Lord and Savior in Heaven after battling many years of illness at the age of 57. Glenda was born on September 14th, 1964.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Glendon Lemon of Salem, VA, and Linda Dooley Lemon of Salem, VA. Paternal Grandparents - Ruth Brandon Lemon and William (Bill) Lemon of Roanoke, VA. Maternal Grandparents - Raymond W. Dooley of Roanoke, VA and Gay Katherine Dooley of Roanoke, VA; Aunts - Barbara Page of Roanoke, VA, Sandra Fulton of Newport Richie, FL and Uncle Ronald W. Dooley of Roanoke, VA.

Glenda worked many years in the hotel and hospitality industry; she loved people, the outdoors, going to the beach, summertime, spending time with friends and family and, her special canine friend Gus.

She is survived by her brother Brian D. Lemon of Salem, VA; nephew Beck Musgrove of Salem, VA and, niece Cherobi Pendleton of Washington, ME; Janet and Marvin Eanes of Roanoke, VA - David and Sheree Lemon of Roanoke, VA - Daniel and Jean Lemon of Roanoke, VA - Rose D. Hancock of Roanoke, VA; and several cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Blue Ridge Gardens - 5737 Airport Rd. NW - Roanoke, VA.
