Gina McAbee passed away the morning of Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the age of 58 years old due to an unforeseen seizure followed by two heart attacks that most likely resulted from issues regarding her cancer diagnosis. She was diagnosed with a rare form called Primary CNS Lymphoma.

She is survived by her loving husband Tim McAbee, her mother Ann Marie Cavezza, sister Rachel, brother Sigmund, Daughter Nicole Hernandez, Son Erich "butch" Gass, daughter Renea Gass, grandchildren Kaleb Smith, Kristian Hernandez, and Bentley Page.

She was a very kind and helpful person that would always put the needs of others before her own. She was funny and was delightful to be around, which made her an easy person to confide in. She enjoyed the beach as a form of healing, where she conveniently got to spend much-needed time prior to passing. She is very loved and will be missed dearly.
