George Edward Clark, Sr., 72, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025. He was born on June 1, 1953, in Welch, West Virginia, to the late Howard Erving Clark and Juanita Jenkins Clark.

George was a man of many talents who loved life and the outdoors. He especially enjoyed fishing, taking his bass boat out, and working with his hands. Known as a true "Jack of All Trades," George could fix, build, or repair just about anything, and he never hesitated to share his skills with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Nancy Clark Mitchell; his brothers, Howard Erving Clark and Floyd Wilmer Clark; and his stepson, Michael St. Clair.

Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted wife, Jeannie St. Clair Clark; his children, Melissa Troop, George Clark Jr., and Jimmy Clark; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, John, Dustin, Selina, Jennifer, Joshua, Braxton, Veronica, Brianna, Felicity, Easton, Brandon, Christopher, Erick, Willow, Aiden, Zoey, and Lydia; and his siblings, Dewitt (Amy), Sonya (Danny), Lotus (George), Wilma, Mary Ruth (Charles), and Carol. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Harvest Ministries Church, 909 Blue Ridge Blvd, Roanoke, VA, with Officiant Sonya C. Stiltner presiding.
