Frank Baxter, born on November 22, 1954, in Newark, New Jersey, passed away on August 20, 2026, in Roanoke, Virginia. Frank lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a joyful spirit that brightened every room he entered.

Happily, retired after many years as a delivery driver and service technician, Frank embraced the simple pleasures of life—especially time spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a devoted family man whose greatest happiness came from being surrounded by those he loved.

Frank was the life of the party, always ready with a laugh and never hesitating to be the first on the dance floor at any wedding. He was also a passionate sports fan, faithfully cheering on his beloved New York Yankees and New York Giants.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ada Baxter.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; his sons, David Baxter (Melissa) and Matthew Baxter (Brianna); his daughter, Karen Baxter (Frederick Loughry); and his cherished grandchildren, Eleanor, Ada, Jane, Ruby, Jackson, and Amelia. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Baxter Cinek, and his brother, Perry Baxter.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date, where Frank's laughter, stories, and spirit will be remembered with love.
