Evelyn Yvonne Keen Harrison, born on March 22, 1946, passed away on July 25, 2024. Yvonne was a loving wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who always put others first and loved everyone.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, William Whitten Keen and Julie Church Keen; her spouse, Samuel G. Harrison; and her siblings, Elvie Underwood (Wallace), Annabell Keen (Johnny Horn), TessieMarie Dunford (Britt), Lou Emma Payne (Berb), George Perry Keen (Jeanette), Carmie Lear Keen, and Ruth Viars (Robert); sister in law, Ellen Keen.

Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Stella Compton (Perry), Layoma Darr (Robert), Jackson JR Keen (Cherrie), and Ralph Keen (Ruby); her in-law, Mary Ann Keen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Another viewing will take place on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 1 p.m. also at Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunny Mullins Cemetery on Compton Mountain.
