Ellen Virginia Campbell, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 75. She was born on October 2, 1949, in Roanoke, where she spent her life spreading joy, creativity, and love to all who knew her.

Ellen was a devoted wife, loving mother, and amazing grandmother. She was one of the most creative and spirited women you could ever meet, bringing laughter, strength, and light into the lives she touched. Her vibrant personality, unmistakable laugh, and unwavering independence made her truly unforgettable. She approached life with a joyful heart and made the most of every moment.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Virginia Wilhelm; her father, Russell Ree Wilhelm; and the love of her life, John C. Campbell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sha Marie Campbell and Shanna Leigh Campbell; her grandchildren, Savanna"Evy" Eve and Jacob "Jacobean" Collin; bonus granddaughter, Nevaeh Marie Davis; her cherished "chauffeur" and future son-in-law, Christonpher McDonald; her beloved sister, Linda Dale Hurt (Dwayne Deyerle), sisters, Nellie Austin and Donna Robertson; and many special nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen's memory may be made directly to her daughters and grandchildren, to help honor her legacy and continue supporting the family she loved so deeply.

Ellen will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
