Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Crews Graybill, 91, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025.

Born on April 6, 1934, Betty was a woman of strength and compassion. She worked for Toledo Bank and Trust in Toledo, Ohio, and later for Anthem in Roanoke, Virginia. She loved quilting, cooking, knitting, gardening, fishing, and camping, but her greatest joy in life was caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Merle Inez Hammock; her stepfather, Dewey Hammock; her husband, William C. Graybill, Sr.; her granddaughter, Jessica Caldwell; her sister, Jane Graybill; and her brother-in-law, Ronald Graybill.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, William Graybill, Jr. (Vikki); her daughter, Sharon Franklin; her grandchildren, Lindsay Caldwell, Andrew Franklin (Lacey Leonard), and Emily Franklin; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan Graybill, Zane Christian, Isabella Christian, and Aaliyah Turner.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 11 a.m., with visitation 30 minutes prior, at Riverside Evangelical Methodist Church (1920 Lucas St., Salem, VA 24153), with Pastor Brian Gordon officiating.
