Dottie Faye Hale, of Christiansburg, born on October 1, 1956, to the late Archie T. Hale and Edna G. Hale, departed this life on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the age of 66.

Dottie is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Leonard G. Hale; her son, Michael C. Blankenship; and her niece, Melissa A. Francisco.

She loved her children and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a great cook who always kept everyone at the table eating. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone with her whole heart.

Those left to cherish Dottie's wonderful memory are her daughters, Angela Holloway (Richard), and Sherry Taylor; her grandchildren, Tori Taylor, Jake Taylor, Derek Taylor, Dustin Stump, and Hope Raborn (Austin); her great-grandchildren, Brooke Tawney, Kameron Tawney, and Braxton Raborn; her sisters, Brenda Foutz (Edward), Elizabeth Gillispie (Steve); and her brothers, Gary Hale, Glen Hale (Carolyn), Mike Hale (Connie), and Noah Hale.

A Funeral Service will be held at Valley Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 19 ^th , 2022, with the family receiving friends at 1 p.m. and the service to begin at 2 p.m. An interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
