Dorothy Christine Rutter Naff was born on Monday, August 14, 1933, to Charles and Vera Rutter. Dorothy opened her eyes in the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 88.

Preceding her in death are her sister, Shirley Rutter Harris, and her brother, Jim Rutter.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 72 years, D. Arnold Naff, Sr.; her sons, Steve Naff (Leisa), David Naff (Peggy), Darryl Naff (Beckie), and Byron Naff (Missy); her daughter, Joan Handy (Kenny); 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Rutter, Helen Altizer, Joyce Moore, and Lola Clower (Harless) and many extended family.

Her celebration of life will be held at the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m officiated by Pastor Hal Sonafrank. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christiansburg Church of the Brethren PO BOX 3050 - 24068.
