On July 12, 2024, Dorinda Lynn Bertolacci, age of Vinton, VA,  went home to be with her Lord and Savior; leaving a legacy of love and kindness. She was born on October 11, 1945, in Washington, D.C., to the late Cloyd and Kathleen Solomon.

In addition to her parents, Cloyd and Kathleen Solomon of Shelbyville, VA,  she was preceded in death by one son, Bradley Koehler of Roanoke, VA.

Dorinda was employed as a visual merchandiser for Robinson Department Store in Las Angeles, CA, and Leggett's Department Store in Roanoke, VA; she also served as the assistant manager at Sidney's Women's Apparel in Roanoke, VA.

Dorinda was blessed to have many roles as a wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Dorinda loved her family unconditionally including her fur babies, her precious little kitties. Her personality would light up any room as she had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Dorinda had a special passion for drawing and painting and enjoyed sharing her drawings, paintings, and special paper dolls with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish precious memories are her loving and devoted husband, Alfred Bertolacci; daughter, Tammy Koehler; step-sons, Micheal, David, and Stephen (Tina) Bertolacci.

A memorial service will be conducted on July 20, 2024, at 2 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton, VA with Rev. Dion Minter, Lay Pastor of Mineral Springs Baptist Church, officiating.
