Donna Ray Weeks, 67 of Vinton, VA, went to her forever home with Jesus on Sunday, March 9, 2025, after a lengthy illness and brief hospital stay.

She was born in Alexandria, VA, on January 19, 1958, and was adopted at two years of age to a loving family in Salem, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Eck, and her stillborn baby girl.

Donna loved her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids; they were her greatest treasures.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Christina (PJ); her sons, David and Michael Herald; her grandkids, Cody (Dakota), Paul (Alexis), Hannah, Haley, Brayden, Brennan, and Norah. She also leaves behind her great-grandbabies, Jett, Charley, Kaya, and Addalyn, as well as her fur grandpups whom she loved to sit with: Finn, Callie, Lu, Buxton, and a very, very special friend, Billy. She is also survived by a slew of brothers, sisters, and many friends.

Her daughter and grandsons want to thank the staff at Springtree Health and Rehab and Michelle at Valley Funeral Home for the compassion they have shown during this difficult time.
